Since  the 1960's, McCallum High School has published a literary magazine to showcase the students' literature and art. In the beginning, it was called  Bagpipes, but as time went on (in 1976, to be exact) the name Bagpipes changed to Excalibur to incorporate our lovable mascot, the Knight. As the magazine grew,  it expanded to include music and art. Excalibur is now 64 years old, and it only gets better with age. We are so excited to share the newest edition of the time honored McCallum literary magazine with you, and we heavily encourage you to join us and submit!
